I'm one week late, but One Room Challenge I'm here!

One Room Challenge Week One

Ok, first things first…I’m behind schedule!

I haven’t even announced on here (or socials yet) that I’m participating in the One Room Challenge! YAY!

I was supposed to have this blog post out last week and here I am…7 days behind, releasing week one when I’m supposed to be sharing about week two!

Anywho, here are the deets of this year’s one room challenge. As usual, I’m overshooting with ambition. I have plans for a kitchen, primary bath, secondary bath, complete new construction of a powder bath, primary bedroom and living room. Whew! Y’all, we only have eight weeks to get this thing wrapped up and let’s just say I need your prayers.

While I only have two months to do the work, the design has been months in the works. There are also several sponsors on board that I’ll be announcing soon. So here is the run down of how these next eight blogs will go:

Week 1 (this post you’re reading) - Intro and Secondary Powder Bath Design Board
Week 2 (the next post that’s really supposed to be today) - Demo progress…spoiler alert, it’s already started!
Week 3 - Primary Bath Design
Week 4 - Primary Bedroom
Week 5 - Mid Challenge Progress Report
Week 6 - Living Room Design
Week 7 - Kitchen Design

Week 8 - Final Reveal

Here is the design plan for the secondary bathroom:

I want it to be neutral and earthy, but a little moody with some paint. I may or may not stain the cabinet. I haven’t fully decided yet. It will be an in the moment decision for this.

For this project I’m able to share links for all of the items, which isn’t something I’m normally able to do. I’m excited to list them below for you:

Sink Faucet

Cabinet Hardware

Mirror

Vanity Light

Undermount sink

Tub/Shower Trim Kit

Wall Color

Ceiling Color

Toilet

Shower Surround Tile

Alcove Tub

Floor Tile

Art

Let me announce the first sponsor for this project…Bedrosians Tile and Stone! They are the flooring and shower tile sponsor for both bathrooms, and I can’t wait to share more!

Let me know your thoughts. What would you like to see added to this bathroom?

Until next time ORCers,

XOXO,

Brittany
